Jute (brush head): Jute is one of nature's strongest vegetable fibres, known as the ‘Golden Fibre’ due to its golden brown colour, silky and lustrous appearance. It also ranks second only to cotton in terms of global production. Jute plants are easy to grow, have a high yield per acre and, and unlike cotton, have little need for pesticides and fertilisers. Jute has a low carbon footprint, it is biodegradable, enriches the soil and all parts of the plant can be used.
Due to its soft, almost silky bristles, our jute dry body brushes are great for first-time users and those with more sensitive skin. Jute body brushes are only used for dry body brushing because the fibre becomes lifeless if wet.
- 100% natural
- Made with renewable and sustainable resources
- Vegan
- Plastic Free
- Ethically handmade
Jute fibre can't stand too much water. Therefore, after each use, lightly run your palms over the bristles to remove any remaining skin particles left on the brush.
Depending on how frequently you use your dry body brush, we recommend cleaning the brushes with luke-warm water and mild soap by dipping your palm into water and with gentle strokes, cleaning the brush with your fingers and palm. Make sure to avoid dipping or soaking the brush with water.
When finished, pad excess water with a towel and dry the brush in a well-ventilated area.
- The brushes are made from all-natural materials. They are biodegradable and compostable.
