THE PRODUCT

Revive Body Brush will transform your beauty routine: feel refreshed and invigorated.

The medium-strength cactus bristles help stimulate the blood flow and promote natural collagen production crucial for reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Remove dead skin cells and impurities without scratching your skin, leaving your skin tingling and cleansed, with a brighter and smoother complexion. A body care must-have.

Use for dry body brushing or brushing in a shower, bath or sauna.

25 x 9.5 x 5cm  / 10 x 4 x 2 in.

Sisal body brushes can be used on dry skin, or with a natural soap or oil when in a shower or bath.

Use gentle but firm, long sweeping strokes without too much pressure. Start brushing at the bottom of your feet, always moving upwards towards your heart.  A body brushing ritual should typically last around 3-5 minutes.

Sisal (brush head): Sisal is a natural fibre extracted from sisal plants of agave cactus family, Agave Sisalana, also known as ‘sisal’. Sisal is most commonly used for fibre production. Agave plants are lasting succulents that grow throughout the year, even on marginal land and in hot and dry areas. It is cultivated in well-organised plantations, mainly in Kenya and Tanzania. Sisal has stiff fibres traditionally used for producing rope, twine, paper, cloth, and carpets.

Sisal body brushes are of a medium bristle category, suitable for a dry body brushing and massage but also ideal for use in the shower or bath. Sisal fibre has a golden creamy colour, it is durable, does not absorb water easily, and it is highly resistant to bacterial damage. It is the perfect natural fibre for exfoliation to improve skin tone and condition.

Coir (handle): Coconut fibre, also known as coco or coir fibre, is found between the hard inner shell and the outer coat (husk) of a coconut.  Coconut palms are grown mainly in the sea belt areas of the north-western parts of Sri Lanka. The trees that give us the fibre are very strong and use hardly any fertilisers, pesticides or insecticides.

Rinse the brush, then shake out or pad excess water into a towel

Hang it from the cord to ensure the bristles are pointing down whilst drying and allow the brush to dry in a well-ventilated area.

  • The brushes are made from all-natural materials. They are biodegradable and compostable.
